Mary Jane Morley, the founder of MJ Morley Law PC, brings a wealth of legal expertise combined with real-life entrepreneurial experience to offer unique, client-focused solutions. As a seasoned attorney and the driving force behind three successful small businesses, MJ understands the legal hurdles that entrepreneurs face, especially when it comes to the costs associated with legal services.

MJ’s legal career began in a prominent Western New York law firm where she tackled a broad spectrum of business-related disputes, from trade secrets to contract law to cybersecurity, in both state and federal courts. Her deep dive into niche industries and her hands-on experience with online businesses have honed her skills in offering tailored advice that meets the specific needs of her clients.

Licensed to practice across New York and in several U.S. District Courts, MJ is not only your attorney but your partner. When she's not advocating for her clients, MJ enjoys playing hockey and golf, coaching youth sports, and spending quality time with her family in Amherst, where she lives with her husband, two children, and their dogs.

LAURA HODGES, DPT.
Meet Laura Hodges, the wonderful Project Manager at MJ Morley Law PC, whose journey to us is as inspiring as her dedication to our clients. Originally a Physical Therapist, Laura spent 17 years in the field, where she honed her skills in managing both people and projects under tight deadlines. Seeking a career that offered more flexibility and a better work-life balance, Laura made a bold transition into project management during the pandemic, and has brought a fresh perspective to our operations!
Born and raised in West Seneca, NY, Laura's academic and athletic journey took her to Wingate University in North Carolina, where she excelled as an Academic All-American softball player, to the University of Houston for a Master’s in Science while serving as a graduate assistant Athletic Trainer. Her pursuit of excellence led her to Northwestern University, where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After a decade in Chicago, the call of family ties brought her back to the Buffalo area, where she now channels her expertise in into enhancing our legal processes and client services.
When she's not orchestrating project timelines or streamlining our client engagements, Laura is an avid outdoor enthusiast. Whether she's camping, gardening, skiing, or kayaking, she loves spending time with her husband, her son, and Baxter, their Bernedoodle. True to her roots in sports and physical wellness, Laura stays active with biking, workouts, and walks, embodying the balance she sought and now contributes to our firm.
